The Cricket Loom is compact, capable, and cute! The Cricket is available in a 10" or 15" weaving widths. It is made of high-quality apple plywood and hard maple and is left unfinished. Each Cricket comes with an 8-dent reed (sorry, no substitutions). We also have 5-, 10- and 12-dent reeds that can be ordered separately. Included are a threading hook, warping peg, table clamps, two shuttles, and two balls of yarn. It's an ideal size for a new weaver of any age. Additional 10" and 15" cricket shuttles and pick-up sticks are available as well as a great stand.
Just recently, Schacht has added a 15 dent reed for the 15" Cricket. Because the dents are very narrow, this new size of reed comes with it's own smaller threading hook.
We generally have the 15" Cricket is stock. We can order the 15" from Schacht if we are out of them when you order and can have it drop shipped from Schacht to you. The 10" is also available to be shipped to you from Schacht.
