Chunky Puppy is the name of an art batt created by Sally at Yorkieslave Artworks. Sally and her sister Mary of Butterfly Girls Designs, are lovingly referred to as the Batt Ladies. They both are amazingly creative and both produce art batts that I love to spin. Chunky Puppy is one of the only art batts I buy over and over again. It's always made of Merino wool, rayon of Bamboo and Firestar for sparkle and always in the colors of deep blue, black, silver and gold, although the exact amount of the ingredients and colors may shift from year to year.
I love spinning Chunky Puppy, generally either as a two ply yarn or core spun. And I love knitting and weaving with the yarn I make.
