Thanksgiving has come and gone and we are perilously close to December. December always means scrambling to get ready for Christmas - getting decorations up, the tree bought and decorated, finishing the last of the presents that should have been hemmed or bound off or had ends woven in months ago and getting everything baked and wrapped and ready. Whew! I'm exhausted just thinking about it.
This is a month when we usually have no Sky Loom Weavers vendor events to attend. We focus on all the wonderful craziness that is Christmas and spend time weaving, spinning, knitting and crocheting to get ready for our shows in January. This year is different. We are very excited to be included in the Ladies Night Out event in Columbus, TX which will take place next week. It should be a lot of fun!
We will be set up in our booth in the Stafford Opera House on the square in Columbus from 4 pm to 9 pm on Thursday Dec. 3rd. There are various wine bars set up around town - you pay $10 for your wine glass and can wander around the square getting free wine and tidbits to eat as you shop. There will also be a Jolly Trolley to take you to other stores that aren't right on the square. I think it's going to be a hoot! If you are in the area, please plan on coming out. It looks like there will be a nice range of items for sale.
