Sealy Spring Fest

Liedertafel Hall, in Sealy, TX is the location for Sealy's Spring Fest on Saturday April 8th. Peggy and I will be there demonstrating spinning and weaving as well as selling some of our hand made items.

Liedertafel Hall was built in 1914 as a hall for dances, plays and gatherings by a German singing society.  It was bought by the Sealy Volunteer Fireman's Association in 1944 as the location for the Fireman's Frolic celebration and other gatherings.  It has been beautifully maintained/restored with a comfortable kitchen, nice bathrooms, a small stage and plenty of open space on the wooden dance floor for all sorts of fun. Come April 8th the building will be full of vendors to tempt you with wonderful hand made things you didn't know you wanted till you got here and saw them.

There will be a vintage car show and parade, a vintage baseball tournament and the Bluebonnet Master Gardeners' Annual Plant sale.  Come enter the hula hoop contest, hoop and stick races and the egg toss.  What fun!

The Spring Fest is open from 10 am to 5 pm.  We have been demonstrators/vendors here for years although this is only the second year (or maybe the 3rd?) we will be at Liedertafel Hall.

Come see us!
