Open

Today was the first day since mid-March that I turned the sign in front of the studio from Closed to Open.  We have been open for appointments for some time and have had a few people call and set up a time to come out. But announcing we are open by turning the sign around seems like a real statement.

We have some new rules given the pandemic and the fact that my husband and I are old and not at all interested in getting sick.  Here we go...

1. Everyone over the age of 2 needs to wear a face covering of some kind or a mask. Sorry, but no exceptions. We want all of us to stay safe and healthy.

2. The studio is small so we can allow only one group in at a time. With this in mind, you might consider calling first.  If there is no one else here when you arrive, then you are welcome to come in but I would hate to make people wait outside.  Of course, we do have some delightful animals you can walk around and talk to while you wait.

3. We have hand sanitizer by the front door so you can sanitize your hands as you come in and as you leave.

All of our fiber festivals this year have been canceled so if you want to see the colors with your own eyes and fondle the fiber with your own fingers, coming out here is pretty much the only way.  Our website is available and we are shipping out orders daily so that is always an option.

We are at the beginning of our fall sale that runs through October 19th. It's 20% off the things you need to get started on making your Christmas presents.  Fiber, yarn and small tools are all included. Spinning wheels and floor looms are not included but Cricket and Zoom looms are as are all the accessories like stands and additional heddles.

Later this fall we will have finished goods on sale for all those who didn't quite get started on that knitting project soon enough.  Watch the website and our blog to keep up to date on what's happening out here.

Happy shopping and stay safe!
