We have just scheduled our next Natural Dyes Workshop. Saturday, May 12th is the day to mark on your calendar. Heads up - That is the day before Mother's Day.
We had hoped to schedule this fun day earlier in the spring but life has intervened. So far our spring has been cool and comfortable so we anticipate May 12th will be wonderful! We will collect oak galls and dig up some madder root. We will have marigolds to pick and hopefully there will still be coreopsis in bloom. There will be onion skins and black walnut husks. I have a stash of dye stuff that we can pick from depending on what the participants are interested in.
We will plan on 7 dye pots along with the indigo vat. It will be a very colorful day. I have just opened registration on the website. There are 8 spaces for the day. If we have more interest than that, we will schedule an additional day later in May.
