Wildflower update

A while ago I talked about the wildflowers that had come up in my garden after having suffered through the drought of last year.  We've had some more rain since I talked about this and have had more flowers come up.

The actual count of Bluebonnets is 15.  They keep popping up and I've learned to pick out the interesting leaf arrangement so I can find the plants before they bloom.

I love all the different colors...

And the different shapes...

The individual flowers are wonderful but taken together they don't exactly make the riot of color I had hoped for....

It still looks a little bleak but they do continue to grow and more flowers keep appearing.
