June? Really?

I'm guessing that my computer, cell phone and tablet don't lie and it really is June.  I'm not sure how that is possible.  In my mind it's only late April.  Somehow May has come and gone in a whirlwind - medical tests completed, surgery done, recovery assured, baby not quite here yet.    All good.

This is one of largest branches on the live oak tree in my back yard.  During most of the year the ferns that are perched on the limb look like this - dry and parched.  But then in rains and they look like this...

Isn't that the coolest thing?  Rain is such a good thing.  I think it's probably the most frequently mentioned subject of my blogs.  Everything depends on it and it comes and goes on it's own schedule.
