Days 3, 4 and 5

It's been a whirl-wind trip!  We visited the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and saw fabulous art.  The Night Watch by Rembrandt was amazing.  So were the paintings by Vermeer and so many other great masters of The Netherland's golden age.  The ship models, doll houses and statues were all interesting and slightly quirky.

We also visited the Frans Hals Museum in Harlaam which had stunning examples of Frans Hals paintings as well as others from the golden age.  Harlaam itself was beautiful.

We were treated to a personal organ recital at the old church in Harlaam.  Wow.  Five thousand pipes really put out a phenomenal sound.

Our cabin on the barge is roomier than we expected.

Even our bathroom is pretty roomy.  It takes a bit of a dance to get into and out of the shower but other than that it works well.

We are on to Rotterdam in the morning!
