This clutch includes the leftovers from my most recent wool sweater knitting project. I always over buy yarn for a large project since I knit loosely and tend to use more yarn than the instructions indicate. In this case what I have left is three very close to full cakes (dark green, moss green and light brown) and an additional 1/2 cake of the light brown. This adds up to over 1100 yards which is plenty for a couple of scarves, a hat and fingerless mits or any other smaller project.
This yarn is only very slightly twisted so you will be knitting with not quite spun yarn. It is fragile if you pull on it but knits up beautifully and holds together well when its knitted. I had never knit with this type of yarn before and picked it very much on purpose to give it a try. I would happily knit with it again and I love the sweater I made with it.
