Well, it finally happened. I turned off all the dye pots and walked away to let everything cool down. When I came back the following morning, I realized there was one dyepot that had been cooking all night long. When I discovered it, it was softly boiling. That is not good for wool or silk. I pulled out the roving and discovered parts of it are badly felted. I expected it would be felted into one solid cylinder or wool but I was lucky. Unfortunately, it is too felted to sell as spinning fiber. There are parts of it that I could probably spin but it would be a huge task to make it useable.
So, if you are looking for the perfect wool stuffing for your wonderful hand crocheted animals or those dryer balls you've been wanting to make... You're in luck! Here is beautiful wool stuffing as a very reasonable price.
