This yarn is a truly interesting blend. Wool blended with tencel is pretty common. Tencel gives a shimmer similar to silk but at a lower cost. But this yarn also has 10% milk fiber and 10% banana. There were a few independent dyers carrying this blend a while back but I haven't seen any recently. The yarn is beautiful and strong so there are no use issues. I think the problem was the cost or the availability of those special fibers - particularly the milk.
