A lazy kate is a piece of equipment that holds the bobbins full of singles that you want to ply together. They can be designed to hold spinning wheel bobbins or drop spindles. This one is the travel version of a Lazy Kate and hold either. This tensioned Kate will hold two or three bobbins or spindles so that you can two ply or three ply as you wish. It comes apart easily so you can stick it in your luggage or overnight bag and take it along on your adventures! Between the arthritis in my hands and the lack of space in my new studio, this useful lazy kate needs to find a new home.
It comes with the zippered carry case, complete instructions and several 4" by 6" cards for keeping your spinning notes.
This Lazy Kate is a 7" by 7" square wooden base with three metal poles to hole either bobbins or balls. You can transfer the cops from your spindle onto the metal poles or use a drinking straw.
