Handspun Yarn - CVM x Wensleydale,

CVM X Wensleydale Yarn

When you cross a CVM (California Variegated Mutant) sheep with a Wensleydale sheep you get an animal with soft wool and longer staple length.  Sometimes you end up with very long staple length - more towards the Wensleydale end of the spectrum; sometimes you end with just a bit longer staple length - more towards the CVM end of the spectrum.  In this case, this fiber is every bit as soft as a great CVM but with a staple length of 4-5" rather than the more standard 3-4".  We have this fiber for sale if you want to try it out.  Just jump over to our fiber section.

If you want to just jump into making something spectacular with this wonderful yarn - you are in the right place!
